Social Medium is run by me, Andrea. I'm an LMSW and it is my mission, or passion rather, to create a welcoming space for teens to come, be themselves and have support as they want. I aim to provide extra support and encouragement to teens at a price families can afford. We're using art as a medium for promoting mental health, self expression, decreasing isolation, learning new things to reduce boredom, increasing mindfulness, and overall promoting positive well-being!
Students can come anytime during Drop-In times and stay as long as they want for just $10. Teens can come, talk, hangout and create for as long as they want to and feel comfortable!
Students have access to a ton of stuff that is included in their visit! Not just art supplies, but also we pop fresh popcorn daily, PB&J, a fridge full of water, juice boxes, a variety of pop, carrots, and other snack goodies for their enjoyment.
